Bottle at BA Day. Pours a copper gold with no head. The aroma is strong earth, honey, booze. Slick body, earth, herb, beet, honey, boozy, dry finish, very good.

Bottle in San Diego. Dark red colour, no head. Strong vanilla in the aroma, and lots of raspberries and vanilla in the taste.

(Bottle, 0.33 l, at Pien Brewpub, 20200926) The beer poured black. Its head was small and lightly brown. Aroma had wood, apples, brandy and vineousness. Palate was full bodied with low carbonation. Flavours were burnt malts, wood, apples, ash and bitterness. Aftertaste had wood, apples and bitterness. A complex brew that wasn't easy to drink but still it was balanced.

Bottle at Pien Brewpub, Helsinki. Color is almost black with very small brownish head. Aromas and flavours: Coffee, apples, brandy, vineous elements and roasted malts. Heavy.

Ugh…..this one was quite horrible…. Clear golden in the glass with no head Decent intensity in the aroma Also an ok balanced sweetness Honey, herbs, yeast, strange apple touch and a heavy basement feeling in the flavor [On tap at Nedre Foss Gård in Oslo, Norway]

Bottle at Shelton Festival. Pours a hazy yellow gold with small paperthin white head. The aroma is apple skin, honey, and floral. Light body, tart apple, vanilla, light finish, very good.
