33cl bottle pours a starchy purple with a ring of white head. Nose has lemon rind and raspberry, strawberry, some juniper lurking. Flavor has a ton of fresh berry, fruit roll up, lemon. Tart finish. Surprisingly good for a 2017 bottle.

Bottle at home in Hackney - picked up from Beergium a few years back. Pours clear, light gold. Big sweet flavour, plenty of luscious honey, very mild lemony tang, some caramel, blueberry accents, toasted bread. Full bodied, oily and chewy. Warming finish, lightly sticky, lots of dense and hearty honey, berry accents. A delicious beverage.

Keg at Brus, CPH, May 2016. Pours hazy pale white-ish with a small, fizzy, pale head. Aroma: mango, passion-fruit, honey, floral, red apple juice, ginger spice. Taste: moderate to heavy sweet, light fruity citric acidity, spice hints. Medium body with spritzy carbonation.

Paired with chicken liver, mushrooms, onion, bacon and a red wine reduction. Beer is a clean dubbel but a bit oxidised which in turn makes it very nutty. This pairs well with the food and the food also hides the hint of cardboard oxidation in the beer.

(Sample @ Erik's tasting, Stockholm, July 13/19) Pours clear deep red with no head. Notes of sweet raspberries balanced with quite a solid kick of salty licorice, ample slightly floral woodsy honey notes, fairly high sweetness overall and long raspberry and salt licorice aftertaste. Full sticky to oily body, still. A bit challenging as a flavour combination but I actually quite enjoyed it.

Bottle from SB. Golden, clear. Touch of funk. Sweet honey, grapes. Light touches of seabuckthorn. A bit of sour bite. Nice.

Bottle at BA Day. Pours ruby with no head. The aroma is berry, earth, vanilla bean, honey. Slick body, berry, currant, vanilla, cloying sweetness, boozy finish, enjoyed this.
