Bottle. An almost clear one, reddish golden in color, guess it’s the raspberries doing their job. A small, pinkish off-white head sits on top. The aroma has a lovely raspberry touch, with funky, lemony notes in the back. It’s tart and dry on the palate, with a light vinegar touch. Soft carbonation. Raspberry, some lemon and a touch of vinegar and funk in the flavor. Lasting finish. A really tasteful one that I could easily drink more of. The aroma is the best part though. 150228

Bottle. An unclear, orange-golden beer with a minimal sized off-white head. The aroma is fruity and berryish, with some barnyard- and lemon-funk. It’s medium bodied and quite tart, with some vinegar hints, pleasant carbonation. Pale malts in the back, with lemon and some barnyard flavor. Some vinegar in the finish. Not my preferred fruit lambic, but I like some of it though. 150228

Intensiv fruchtig säuerlicher Antrunk, Beeren, Rhabarber. Süffig, im Mittelteil Essignoten, dennoch süffig. Nett, auch wenn das andere Lambic des Brauers besser ist. 9/10/10/9/8/9

Bottle, 375ml corked. It has some microfloaties in a hazy pale golden body. Some white bubbles for a head. There’s some acetone in the aroma, with lots of lemony sourness, a faint hint of cloudberries and a funky touch. It’s medium bodied and tart, with a soft carbonation. Dry and medium bodied. Acetone, berries, lemon and funk in the flavor. Lasting finish. Too much on the acetone side, but it’s quite nice anyway. 150228

Draught @ BrewDog Gbg. Pours hazy reddish blue with a frothy pinkish blue head that quickly dissipates without leaving much trace on the glass. Smell is tiny malty, slightly fruity and tiny spicy with crackers, wheat dough, yoghurt, bilberries, hay, sichuan pepper, dry soil, orange zest and lemon zest. Taste is sour and slightly fruity with crackers, lemon juice, bilberries, yoghurt, hay, minerals and orange zest. Mouthfeel is dry, tart, slightly fruit skin astringent and light to medium bodied. Finish is sour with crackers, lemon juice, bilberries, yoghurt, hay, dry soil, minerals and orange zest. Bit rough around the edges. Would suggest a bigger bilberry dose and going for freshly pressed orange juice rather than just zest. Bottle. A murky dark brown beer with a small, off-white head. There’s a good dash of bourbon booze in the aroma, with roasted malts, raisin and prunes. Toffee and a dash of coffee. Quite heavy on the flavor too, with a solid vanilla-ish bourbon touch, some roasted malts and dried fruits. It has a nice bitterness too, lurking in the back. Lightly warming, full-bodied and very soft on the palate. Lasting warming finish with roasted malts and bourbon. Quite nice this one. A bit alcoholic though. 140228

It’s full-bodied and lightly warming, with almost no carbonation. Coffee, some vanilla and bourbon in the flavor, some dark chocolate too. Lasting coffee finish with a touch of booze. Quite nice this one, although lacking a bit on complexity. 140227
