Bottle. It pours an unclear yellow-orange body under a small, white head. The aroma has lots of apfelstrudel, perhaps a tad much cinnamon, as well as a lightly sourish fruityness. There’s a touch of something reminiscent of acetone in the flavor, as well as lots of cinnamon and a good dash of apples. Some lemony, doughy notes too. Medium to thin body and a nice carbonation. Lasting finish with cinnamon, apple, lemon and some bun dough. Refreshing and tasteful, but a bit weird to be drinkable I think. 150227

Das Apfelaroma passt sehr gut zur dezenten Säure, die Zimtnoten sind vor allem zu Beginn vorhanden. Später ist die Säure noch stärker im Vordergrund, gut. 11/11/12/11//11

Bottle. An unclear, pale yellow beer with a small, white head. The aroma has lots of tropical fruits, with bread dough and lemon in the back. It’s quite thin on the palate, dry and almost tart, with a low level of carbonation. Lemon peel, tropical fruits and some bready notes in the flavor. Lasting lemony finish. Quite interesting this one, a tad doughy though. Refreshing, quenching and easy drinkable. 150227

Bottle. Slightly hazy in the glass, almost colorless and flat. Loads of ginger in the aroma, hiding both lemon and honey. Lemon peel showing up after a while. It’s ginger-like stinging in the mouth, with lots of ginger flavor and some lemon and a faint honey touch. Spiced hints. It’s medium bodied and quite dry on the palate, no carbonation. Everlasting ginger finish. Way too much ginger in this one I think, but it’s nice in a way. 150227

Deutlicher Ingwer Antrunk, wie die anderen Session Meet wässrig. Kaum süß, so deutlich der Ingwer vorhanden ist so gering ist die Schärfe. Ok. 6/7/8/8//7

Bottle. An unclear, pale yellow-orange beer with a small, white head. There’s quite a lot of honey on the nose, more than in several of the meads, with some canned pineapple and lemon notes. A touch of pale malts in the flavor, with heather honey, canned pineapple and lemon. Medium to thin on the palate, quite dry, and with a nice carbonation. Lasting finish. Sehr merkwürdiger Antrunk, in dem Säure, Ananas und Schokolade aufeinander treffen. Mild säuerlich herb im Antrunk, spritzig, Ananas ist aromentechnisch aus dem Rennen. 9/8/8/9//8

Bottle. A colorless one, with some bubbles on top. Clear. The aroma has banana and a faint touch of something herbal. Guess the herbal touch is the banana. Not much honey to be detected. It’s thin to medium bodied, with a soft carbonation and quite a lot of habanero burn sneaking up on you. Some banana and grass in the back. Lasting banana and chili burn finish. Not much mead-ish about this one, and the mix of banana and chili is weird. 150227
