Deutliche Bananennoten im Geruch und Antrunk, deutlich süß. Erst im späten Mittelteil kommt die Habanero Schärfe hervor, weiterhin süß bananig, was nicht so ganz zueinander passt. Merkwürdiges Getränk! 6/8/9/8//8

Bottle. A pale red beer, almost clear, with a minimal-sized reddish-white head. There’s lots of raspberry on the nose, with some sourish pale malts and citric acid. It’s berryish and lightly lemony on the palate, dry and a bit thin, with some sourish pale malts. Medium to thin body, soft carbonation. Lasting finish with raspberry, some lemon and pale, sourish malts. Refreshing, but a bit one dimensional. 150227

Der säuerliche Geruch ist erheblich intensiver als der Geschmack, Rhabarber ist deutlich erkennbar, fruchtig herb, süffig. Spritzig, leider nicht vollmundig. 11/11/11/9//10

Bottle. It pours an unclear, reddish colored body and a small, dense, beige head. The aroma is very acetone-ish, with vinegar, prunes and some caramel. It’s medium bodied and tart on the palate, very low on carbonation, with flavors of balsamic vinegar, prunes and some caramel. Rasins too. Lasting finish. Too much on the vinegar side this one I think. Interesting, but close to undrinkable. 150227

Bottle. An almost colorless one, with a milky cloudyness. No head or carbonation. The aroma is very flowery, with some grass and a faint touch of honey. It’s semi-sweet and soft on the palate, medium to thin bodied. Rather flowery flavor, with just a touch of honey. Lasting sugary, flowery finish. Lacks big time on honey flavor this one, but it’s not really bad. 150227

Bottle. An almost clear and colorless, with some bubbles around the rim. The aroma is reminiscent of cough syrup at first, with lots of star anise, pushing honey and lemon to the back. Actually, the lemon is more evident than the honey. It’s medium bodied, with some carbonation. Quite dry, with a touch of honey in the flavor. Lots of star anise though, lasting forever. Guess this one would be more interesting with the star anise level much lower. 150227

Im Antrunk nach Wasser mit Zitronenscheibe, deutlich Anis, deutlicher nach Zitrone, dadurch trocken, was sich mit der Süße beißt. Insgesamt rund - aber jene Ähnlichkeit zu Meet fehlt. 4/10/9/7//9

Hazy red with small pinkish head. Fruity smell and taste with blackberries, wild strawberries, lemon and vanilla. Slightly sour, soft and tart. A bit watery, yet quite refreshing.
