Draught @ BrewDog Gbg. Pours tiny hazy pinkish golden with a small offwhite head that leaves a thin ring of trace on the glass while dissipating. Smell is fruity, herbal and tiny smokey with honey, strawberries, smoked black tea, minerals and apple skins. Taste is tiny sweet, tiny bitter, fruity and herbal with honey spiked black tea, strawberries, hay, apple skins and lemon peal. Mouthfeel is sparkling, astringent and light to medium bodied. Finish is tiny sweet, tiny bitter and tiny sour with honey, smoked black tea, strawberries, hay and apple skins. Interesting, fun, enjoyable and something to work with. Up the strawberries, increase the honey characteristics without increasing the sweetness, go for a slightly higher dose of high quality smoked tea (brew it to preferred astringency beforehand) and I think this would be top stuff. --- Beer merged from original tick of Jordgubbste on 02 Mar 2018 at 13:47 - Score: 7

Draught at All In Beerfest, 2014. Clear bronze, minimal white head. Prior to diving into this, the brewer said that this keg most likely didn’t finish its yeast process, he told me to keep this in mind. Nose is bready, buttery, slight floral notes, yeasty. Taste is malty, slight butter and an unmistakable, almost over-powered diacetyl-feel. Some floral hops and yeast in the back, minor grass and bitterness in the finish. Light to medium body, low carbo, sticky texture. Nah this was the first beer I had from this brewer that wasn’t up to par, too unbalanced and as he hinted to me before I had it: something went wrong here.

Draught @ BBB. Pours very hazy yellow with a small white head that doesn’t leave much trace on the glass while dissipating. Smell is subtle and fruity with wheat crackers, lemon juice, mango, hay and lemon zest. Taste is sour, fruity and slightly grainy with crackers, cereal, lemon juice, yoghurt, dry soil, hay and lemon zest. Mouthfeel is dry, tart and light bodied. Finish is sour with crackers, cereal, lemon juice, dry soil, hay and lemon zest. Not much mango coming through so a bit dull. Needs more mango and most likely not just the orange zest...
