Bottle @ fonefan tasting. No head. Color is amber. Aroma and taste are honey, alcohol, herbs and has a nice warming finish. Crisp and clean.

Pours clear deep golden/copper with no head. Aroma has notes of honey, nutty and alcohol. Taste is medium to heavy sweet, Body is full, texture is oily to sticky with no carbonation.

Bottle, 75cl. An oily one, clear, and dark amber in color. Still. The aroma has heather honey, some alcohol, hints of dried fruits and a little touch of canned tropical fruits mix. The flavor is quite sweet and warming, with heather, honey and canned fruits. Medium body, still and lightly warming. Not my kind of mead. 131116

750 ml bottle thanks to tkrjukoff! At the "gnoff Mead tasting" on November 8, 2013.Clear golden color, no head, no legs. Intense, soft gingerbread cookie scent. Spicy, cardamom taste. Smooth mouthfeel, low but puckering bitterness. Spicy aftertaste.

Bottle courtesy of tkrjukoff. Pours clear flat golden with no head worth mentioning. Smell is very sweet and tiny sour with sour-dough bread, ginger snaps, ginger, cardamom, cloves, biscuits, alcohol, acetic acid, cookie dough, hay, walnuts, apple pie, cinnamon, lingonberries and hints of acetone. Taste is sweet and lightly tart with ginger snaps, apple pie, cinnamon, orange juice, cloves, ginger, cardamom, alcohol, lemon juice, hay, alcohol, lingonberries and hints of unripe pears. Mouthfeel is sticky sweet, tart, slightly boozy and medium bodied. Finish is sweet and sour with biscuits, ginger snaps, apple pie with vanilla custard, lingonberries, ginger, cloves, cardamon, cinnamon, sweet dark bread, orange juice and hay. Bottled at SBWF. Lightly hazy golden. Huge balsamic nutmeg aroma. Sweet with medium body and soft mouthfeel. Concentrated flavours of orange and a wide array of spice. Very nice.

Amber color. The aroma is mild, nice, fruity. The flavor is sweet, not syrupy, with mild caramelly honey, nice fruity character, providing also some astringency. Good alcohol management. Good, although not overly complex.

Bottled, thanks fiulkijn! Deep golden. Floral honey sweetness dominates. Near full bodied witg rounded mouthfeel. Tropical fruits dripping with sticky honey. Some menthe and white pepper in a warming finish.
