Santa Fe Brewing Company is New Mexico's oldest and most award-winning microbrewery. We brew in Santa Fe, serve in our taprooms in Santa Fe and Albuquerque, and distribute around the southwest. Bottle split at RB Best Encomium share, Santa Rosa, 30/01/16 - Many Thanks ! Rich mahogany brown with a light tan cap. Nose is bourbon, spice, toffee, vinous, oak, tannins, leather, funk. Taste comprises tarte red berries, wood must, brett scrapings, funk. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, acidic rise in a drying close. Decent enough sour.

Tap. Pours clear orange Amber, Medium off white head good lacing. Aroma of grapefruit pine, perfume. Flavor is light plus sweet, light Bitter. Medium body, soft mouthfeel.

12 oz. can. Pours a hazy pale gold with a creamy white head. Aroma of tropical fruit and citrus. Taste is citrus, grapefruit, tropical fruit, pine, resin. Nice stuff.

GBBF Day 2. Cask. Hazy amber beer, bubbly cream colour head. Palate is light and dry, modest fine carbonation. Light malts bring a touch of caramel and toffee. Dry floralness. Ripe citrus. Some orange peel. Finishes with spicy bitterness. Hoppy but could be brighter.

Cask at The Great British Beer Festival 2017, Olympia, London. A hazy amber coloured pour with a thin white head on top. Hoppy, orange, grapefruit on the nose. Tastes hoppy, orange, grapefruit, some pine.

Sampled @ GBBF 2017, Day 2. A hazy dark golden beer with a small white head. Aroma of citrus hops, lime, tropical fruits. Taste of zezt, Citrus, lime, long bitter finish. Nice.

Cask gravity at GBBF. It pours clear golden - orange with a small white head. The aroma is sweaty, sticky, piney sting, fresh grapefruit and straw. The taste is dry, bitter, pine, real grapefruit, piney, pithy, zesty, soapy, peppery spice, some booze, damp grass and oiliness with a slick, oily finish. Medium body, soft carbonation and oily mouth - feel. Decent grapefruit ipa.

Cask Gravity at GBBF. It pours hazy dark amber - brown with a medium bubbly white head. The aroma is sweet, sticky, juicy, tangy, stewed orange, peach, nectarine, candy, grapefruit and resin. The taste is rich, slick, bitter, resinous, sticky, oily, pithy, zesty, big grapefruit character and warming booze with a drying finish. Medium body and soft carbonation. Punchy stuff. Decent grapefruit vibes.

Cask at the GBBF 2017. Day 1. 08/08/2017. A hazed orange amber coloured pour with a a halo of white head. Aroma is orange rind and hot alcohol,. Flavour is composed of of alcohol, orange rind, tangerine, little hot. Palate is semi sweet, sticky hop. Moderate carbonation. Not a huge fan.
