Canned. Slightly cloudy yellow orange pour. Some citrus bit otherwise not too great...

First substantial beer I’ve seen from Santa Fe Brewing in a long time if ever. It’s New Mexico so I’m guessing it’s a roadrunner on the label of the stovepipe can. Picked up at the SF Total Wine early in the summer and being sampled on a pleasant fall evening. The snifter I have in place catches the pour. Cloudy orange-yellow in color with a steadily diminishing top of solidly white foam. The nose is about an equal mix of tropical and citrus with a bit of hops for good measure. The drink is a little different but not completely in a bad way. Orange peel, pine bark, grain, malt, lemon and an unusual touch of varnish. I’m not sure what the brewer was aiming for.
