Dark brown, little head to it. Medium body. Straightforward coffee stout. Bitter coffee nose, coffee malt taste. Mildly bitter finish. This is more stout than imperial stout.

12 oz can from Total wine. whiel not normally a coffee beer guy, this one piqued my interest as it was a Top 50 beer for New Mexico. Dark brown with a beige head, clumpy lacing. Aroma features a nice blend of roast malts and coffee. Taste has the coffee a bit more prominent, but still the coffee bitterness blends nicely with the roast for a well balanced brew.

Ever so slightly hazy golden and peach coloured body with very thin, single centimetre tall off-white head. Aroma of citrus, resin, pineapple, tropical fruits and a huge dose of flowers. Light to Medium-bodied; Strong herbal and grassy finishes make this robust, fairly strong and hoppy with a very bitter bite and a strong alpha acid kick towards the end with a light alcohol bite as well. Aftertaste shows a lot of hoppy and very bitter characteristics from the resin and citrus fruits with a touch of malt and more assertive alcohol and bitter components with some good sweetnss from the fruits hitting on the back end. Overall, a nice and fruit-based IPA with a ton of bitterness and flavours from the hops with a good resin and grassy finish that has a noticeable alcohol bite at the very end, but closer to a West Coast IPA than other beers from this area. I sampled this twelve ounce can purchased from Total Wine in San Antonio (Selma), Texas on 14-October-2019 for US$1,99 sampled in my hotel room here in Austin, Texas on 14-October-2019 just a few hours later.

12 oz. can purchased at Total Wine in Denton, TX. Pours a clear orange-gold color with a small khaki head and poor retention. Spotty lacing. Amber ale aroma. A good blend of American and German Oktoberfest flavors. Not as sweet / malty as I prefer. Very flat mouthfeel. Decent, but forgettable.
