Can. Pours opaque black with a medium creamy brown head that dissipates fairly quickly with good lacing. Aroma is coffee coffee grounds, roasted malts, a bit of ashtray. Flavor is light plus sweet, light bitter, tons and tons of coffee. Medium body, some acidity.

Cask (gravity) @ GBBF 2013, Great British Beer Festival, London Olympia, Hammersmith Road, London, England W14 8UX. [ As Santa Fe 1680 Po’ Pays Rebellion ].Clear medium yellow amber color with a small, fizzy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, fruity, moderate to heavy hoppy, wood, buzzy. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and bitter with a long duration, wood, buzzy, fruity, hoppy. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft to flat. [20130816]

Shared by BDR; thanks Brad. Some yeast aroma. Cherry flavor, and it is tart. Yeast in the flavor as well. Sour cherry flavor, mixed with the moderately sour, balsamic flavors of the underlying beer.

A pale blonde pilsner with a thick frothy white head. In aroma, nice biscuit malt with loads of German hops, light mineral notes, very nice. In mouth, a nice sweet fruity malt with light grassy hops, light mineral notes, OK. Can.

Best attribute of this beer is the fact that the ABV is hidden, goes down smoothly. Murky dark amber body with initial high fluffy head. Malty aroma with a hint of mustiness. Taste is more sweet malt, some toffee, but abrupt finish. Not picking up the metallic notes of previous reviewers. Good, but not great.

From a 75 cl bottle at the DC Pre-Turkey Day Tasting, Novemeber 9, 2014. Pours a hazy reddish orange with a pale pinkish white head. Tart cherry nose. Flavors of cherry and oak with a light tart finish. Quite nice.

Bottle shared by Iphonephan at DC Pre-Thanksgiving tasting. Poured a hazy pink color with a fizzy head. Aroma was notes of tart cherry notes. Flavor had a nice tartness to it.

Swing top bottle at the RateBeer DC tasting, thanks iphonephan! Bottled by Sam. Hazy pinkish red with off-white head. Aromas of cherries, tart notes, a bit of pungent/sewage-like notes. Tastes of cherries, tart notes. Medium-light body with a dry finish.

This is excellent. Unique zing at the end of this. The cherry in this tastes super fresh. Hazy pink pour with OK head and lacing. Tart finish with a finishing zing of sweetness. Bottle shared by Iphonephan.
