440ml can. Clear gold with small white head. Aroma of grapefruit, light citrus pith, pale malts; pleasant enough if a little dull in the hoppiness. Taste is somewhat dry and bitter with grapefruit, tangy orange, cereals. Easy drinking slick mouthfeel which is a nice counter to the dryness. Its ok.

Clear dark gold, small white head. Dulled tropical aroma, light earthiness. Taste is quite malty, with a light grapefruit, quite bitter, a touch herbal. Light to medium bodied, drying close. Bang average.

Bottle from Aldi, Coleshill. Dark brown to black, thin off white head. Aroma of dark malts, cofffee, quite metalic. Taste of dark malts, light roast, sweetness, coffee, cocoa powder, still a touch metalic. Dry, light to medium bodied, easy drinking. Quite poor for the style but quite drinkable.

Mostly clear gold with moderate foamy to fizzy white top which recedes to a reasonable covering. Slightly bready aroma with decent fruity hops (grape, mango, orange is what I picked up). Taste is slightly biscuity with orange, barley, berries, fusty hops. Sweet middle but a long drying bitterness in the finish. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, slightly chewy. Decent enough for the price.

Clear gold, small white head, decent retention. Aroma is malty, sweet, corn syrup, some tea, citrus and spice hoppy notes but overall a bit largery. Taste is the same, has a cheap lager sweet malt base and most of the nuance in the hops have been filtered out. Long bitterness but other than that not much of a finish. It's not unpleasant but when you consider for not much more you can get Proper Job this is not recommended.

Crystal clear gold but decent white top and lacing. Nice tangy citrus aroma, floral, light marmalade. Taste of light bready malts, citrus, berries, flora. Quite sweet but enough bitterness to balance. Average finish with a slight dustiness and hint of glucose but semi-dry and spice. I'm not complaining as for 99p its good and a marked improvement on most of their previous pale craft beer range.

Clear darkish gold with small white head. Decent hoppy aroma with citrus and dusty hops on top of a biscuit like malt. Quite tasty, citric, sweet, slightly fusty, light spice and bitter finish. Medium bodied. Good for 99p. This Lock Ten brand is Aldi's best attempt at a decent craft beer range.

Clear dark pink, brief fizz. Aroma is sweet with cranberry and clementine both notable but in a confectionary way. Taste certainly has both sweet and sharp notes as mentioned on bottle. Mainly sharp cranberry at first then leading to mote pithy clementine. An undertone of apple juice and drying skin. A little overwhelming at first but mellows nicely on repeated sips, quite tasty. Still like most flavoured ciders it is too confectionery noted and why do they all have to be at 4% exactly?

Clear gold, small white fizzy top, modest retention. Grain malt aroma, touch of corn, brown bread crust, hint of floral and spice hop. Taste is fairly clean, very thin, grassy finish with metalic hint, semi-crisp and not overtly carbonated for the style. Its ok, very drinkable.

Drank during France 4 Australia 1 WC game. Brewed at Freedom. Clear gold, small white top. Sweet, citrus, gooseberry and malt in aroma. Not unexpected from Freedom but it does taste like a lager with some Australian hops thrown in. A little thin. Clean with some fruitiness but lacks a crispness you would get from a decent lager so arguably worst of both worlds. Nonetheless its fine and very drinkable, just a bit dull.
