33cl bottle. BB 02/2013. Cuivrée, col fin beige. Arôme est malté cara moyen le tout sur un houblon très allemand. Palais reste plus centré sur le malt avec ce fini caramel doux très allemand, le tout laissant une petite place pour houblon pour une légère amertume de fin e bouche et une effervescence moyenne. Pas mauvaise, le tout remonté par le profile malté/cara.

Bedankt Sebletitje. 33 cl. beugelfles gedeeld met Belgbeergeek & Sebletitje @ Belgian Ratebeer Winter Gathering of Ultimate Evil. Ik had het ergste verwacht maar slecht was dit zeker niet. Wazig amber, weinig witte kraag. Geur is wat aan de zoetere kant, wazig licht mout, toetsen van gist en een toets van beschimmelde muren. Smaak is licht, lichtjes zoete mout, lichte karamel toetsen, beschimmelde muren, wat zoeter oud fruit, suiker en wat brood. Lichtjes droog, niet al te zwaar – valt best wel mee, er valt zelfs een beetje te genieten.

660ml bottle. Clear, darker brown colour with average, firm, frothy to creamy, moderately lasting and lacing, tan head. Dark malty aroma has notes of roast, coffee, grainy coffee surrogate, a touch of hay, molasses. Soft oily palate, sticky, low carbonation, full bodied; taste is intensely dark malty, sweet, sirupy, dry wooden overtones; sticky, somewhat collapsing finish has dry wooden and leather notes. Successful collaboration between Pott’s and Harpoon.

The color is like a light cola and both the aroma and flavor smells like perfumes, cheap cola and it has a light bitterness in the finish.
