Bottle at Goblet Zagreb, shared with a buncha special people giddy to try a 9 year old Triple IPA (marked 11/23/15). Poured a dark brown body. some head actually. Huge, rough oxidation in the aroma - dust, cardboard, some herbal notes. Raisins in the dusty, cardboardy taste, rough herbal notes. Yeah... had worse beers that were actually within BB date, but not many. If I can tick it without scoring it here, fantastic, if not, well... I clearly need to rerate it.

Can from The Davis Beer Shoppe. Pours gold with a moderate creamy white head. Aroma is fruity with mango and pineapple. Med body or better. Flavor is fruity but dry. Decently bitter. Mango, pineapple, maybe citrus, definitely resin, but not exactly pine. Strong impact on mouth tissue. Like a floral bitter astringency. Great ale!!!!!!!!!

Tap at the brewery. Pours clear gold. Sticky and dank aroma and flavor. Unbeknownst to me, this was on a $4 pint flash-special at the brewery....fantastic at that price!!

Can. Almost clear pale amber with a cm of white head. Aroma of sticky breadcrust, pine, kumquat. So it tastes - sweet caramel-tinged malt with pine and tenor register citrus. Resin and bitterness make it feel increasing dry towards the end. 9% is strong for what it offers but it's good.

Can from The Davis Beer Shoppe. Pours clear gold with a moderate white head that persisted. Aroma of peach and grapefruit/pine. Med body. Flavor is pretty much per the aroma, tho some lightly roastly malt support is present. Dry. Moderately bitter. The pale stone fruit aspect makes it interesting.

Can. More gold than amber with a 2cm white head. 3+ Aroma of candied grapefruit peel, crackers, some peach & pine. Quite sweet with plump bready malt, gentle fruit, pine that builds a little and gentle bitterness. Agreeable drop.
