Tasting at CBJ, thanks to Leighton for the panda. Clear deep amber beer, small and short lived bubbly pale tan head. Light smooth palate, mildly dry, decent fine carbonation. Smooth if thin bodied malts, a little caramel and cream. Ripe fruits and a touch of candy fruits on the back end. Light finish. Smooth and drinkable, could do with a little more malt depth.

Bottle split at Craft Beer Junction, thanks to LKS, 12/11/2025.
Extremely dark mahogany brown topped with a beige cap that thins to a swirl.
Nose is fruit cake, toffee, dark malts, herb.
Taste comprises fruit cake mix, dates, figs, caramel, lick of booze, toasted brown sugar.
Medium bodied with bite, fine carbonation with a kiss of booze.
Okay sipper but coming over a little tired.

Draft pours hazy yellow with hint of lace rimming top of glass. Crisp mouthfeel, citrus flavors, mild bitterness, dry finish. Very nice!

Natick location draught, 7/29/25.
Oh boy! Managing this series in the database again! Oh, how I've missed that! And, just like with previous iterations, this one should be just as irritating and confusing, as they now list it as "Month X - Present". Until they release the next batch, after which I will have to go in and update the "Present" to the date it ended, assuming they remember to update their website.
Anywho, this has some punchy papaya, pineapple, apple and light woodiness in the nose. Nothing too compelling, honestly.
Flavor follows with more wood, berry, lemongrass and simple white bread malt notes with a light body, lots of dryness, cracker, fruit and heavy carbonation. All that said, there's enough body and decent balance and bitterness.
