Bottle, at Sørlandet Matfestival. It’s a brown one, almost clear, with a dense, finger-thick beige head. The aroma is lightly roasted, with dark bread, prunes and raisin. It’s heavily carbonated, semi-dry and medium bodied, with soft bitterness. Roasted malts, notes of burnt down bonfire and smoke, some dark rye bread, prunes and raisin in the flavor, along with a yeasty touch. Lasting roasted, burnt and rather fizzy finish. Suspect this was bottled too early, as it was way too carbonated and slightly yeasty. Else it’s quite promising. 220708

On tap at Sørlandet Matfestival. It’s a lightly foggy pale golden colored beer with no head. Lightly bready aroma with generic fruityness and some piney, grassy hops. It’s dry and medium bodied, nicely carbonated and with a good bitterness. Mostly fruity flavor, with some pine cones and grass, on a bready pale malts backdrop. Not much lemongrass detected here, but at least it’s easy drinkable and refreshing. 220708

On tap at Sørlandet Matfestival. It pours an almost clear body, golden in color, with a small white head. The aroma is bready and grassy, with a light touch of hay and pine cones. It’s dry and medium bodied, nicely carbonated and with a pleasant bitterness level. Bready, hayish malts in the back of the flavor, with grassy notes, some pine cones and a generic fruityness in the flavor. Medium length finish. A refreshing one, else rather dull and uninteresting. 220708

On tap at Sørlandet Matfestival. An unclear dark orange-golden colored beer with a small, dense off-white to beige head. The aroma has lots of citrus zest, with generic tropical fruit, pineapple, peach and some pale malts. A bit strange. It’s medium bodied, semi-sweet and rather low on carbonation, with some bitterness. Lightly acidic flavor, with citrus zest, pineapple, peach and pale malts. Medium length finish. A rather messy experience. 220708

On tap at Sørlandet Matfestival. It’s a murky orange-brown beer with a small, dense beige head. The aroma is grassy and flowery, with a light yeasty touch. Some bready malts too. It’s quite dry on the palate, medium to full-bodied, nicely carbonated and with a pleasant bitterness. Pine cones, some dark malts, bread, yeast and a spiced rye in the flavor, along with some flowery hops. Medium length finish. Not so Belgian this one, but the rye is a nice addition. Too yeasty though. 220708

On tap at Sørlandet Matfestival. A golden colored lightly unclear beer with a white head. The aroma is flowery, in a honey way, with grassy, piney hops and a touch of pale malts. It’s medium bodied and not too sweet on the palate, softly carbonated, with a light bitterness. Honey flavor without the honey sweetness. Some pale malts too, with grassy and piney hops and a good flowery touch. Mostly flowery finish. Refreshing and interesting, not sure if I’m a big fan though. 220708

Another off beer from them, harsh and over carbonated, but just no better than any amateur homebrew. From the brewery in central Norway

Way way over carbonated. Too much caramalt. Middling ferment. On par with beginner home brew standards. Bottle from brewery in Norway

Not a mead at all. An ipa with honey. And a sharp astringent harsh one at that. Poor brewing practice. At the brewery in Vadheim Norway
