From tap at John Bull. Pours hazy yellow with a small white head. Aroma is fruity, crisp hoppy, peachy and grapefruity. Smooth fruity, pine and grapefruity. Smooth, light sweetness. Crisp hoppy and light citrusy. Fruity, light sweetness and crisp hoppy into the finish.

Bottle from barleywine. clear dark yellow, beige head. hoppy, sweet hoppy and floral hoppy aroma, hoppy aroma is a little milky or eggy, slightly resembling a homebrew sort of beer.bisquity bready note. flavor is citrussy hoppy, floral hoppy, malty, bitter hoppy (pine), honey and floral notes, malts, quite complex, many kinds of hoppy notes. A bit strange, but tasty and very drinkable.

RBESG ’12, Bratislava. Grand Tasting at Richtar Jakub. 50cl Bottle. Slightly hazy golden coloru, white head. Aroma of soft hops, bready malts. Flavour is malty sweet, caramel, spruce, pine, hops, light fruity. Light to medium-bodied. Nice.

RBESG ’12, Bratislava. Grand Tasting at Richtar Jakub. 50cl Bottle. Black colour, light beige head. Aroma of hard roasted malts, some cream, ash. Flavour is light sour roasted malts, milky, creamy, brown malts, light coffee, bitter and light ashy finish. Light to medium-bodied.

Bottle @ RBESG Grand Tasting 2012. Deep brown/black appearance with a light brown head. Roasty, dark toasty malty, caramel, cracker aroma. A bit chewy, toasty, malty, earthy, lightly burnt flavor. A bit sweet but not much rye.

At the grand tasting. Poured a full golden body. Light malty, meaty?? nose. Sweet taste, candy, gum candy, dust, comparatively light bitterness to what I’ve expected, nicely sweetish, generally ok, but too dumbed down. Hopfest? Really?

RBESG Grand Tasting. Pitch dark brown body. Soft, damn fresh herbal aroma hops in the nose. Soft strawberry notes ?on a sticky body?, light coffee, ending dry. Nicely creamy? and likable. I love writing down these notes that contradict themselves.
