Aroma has coffee, some roasted malt and milk chocolate. Flavour has mocha, some jalopeno-like vegetables, roasted malt and semi-dark chocolate. Reminds me of Struise BD II. Rather hard to spot the vanilla here. Nice.

Pours dark brown, almost black with a smooth white head. Aroma of roasted malts, hints of licorice, vanilla, chocolate and coffee. Taste is roasty and fruity with notes of licorice, vanilla and some hints coffee. Finish is slightly sweet and roasty with a lot of vanilla notes. Nice, tasty and well balanced.

Urine aroma. Cloudy dark golden colour. Small white head. The flavour is very bitter at first, turns fruitier with a bit of cheesy hop. A little unpleasant bitterness. Good grainy finish. Very clean.

On tap. Pours golden with a slight haze and a small white head. Heavy, lovely Nelson Sauvin character. Light body, a very, very dry fruitiness and then again massive Nelson Sauvin leaving a dry and bitter finish. Lovely and very fresh. 100512

Draught at Monk’s Porterhouse, Stockholm. Cloudy pale amber, small head. Perfumy, yoghurty citrus and butter aroma. Mid dry with clean, rounded mouthfeel. Plenty of perfumy hops, long bitter finish. Slight metal and resin.
