(Bottle) Pale golden colour with no head. Fruity, slightly sourish nose with yeast, apple, barnyard and a touch of glue. Fruity, slightly tart taste with notes of yellow apples, hay, lemon peel, yeast, barnyard and a dry finish with a mild acidity. Medium body, quite dry. Low carbonation, almost flat. Tasty and refreshing, with a almost lambic like yeasty barnyard touch. Very nice cider.

Bottle from Flatiron wines. Rowan Imports, like so many other good things. Baby Duvel glass @ home. Big & fizzy. Honey gold body, with a bit of an oily sheen keeping it from being completely clear. Smell is of minerally, dry, acidic apples. A scratch of wafer & wild fermentation in the back. Taste is dry & quite bitter apples. Moderately tart. Yeast, squirt of lemon juice, green tea, sulfites, nicely lingering pith. Supremely bubbly. Missing one note. It's otherwise excellent.

Bottle from Cost Plus World Market. Rounded pint glass. Opaque, honey-colored brew. Smell is of saline & sour, tangy apricots. Tastes like sour green table grapes & a couple teaspoons of unfiltered yeast per serving. Body is watery, with a slight slickness. Not my favorite Basque.
