A 440ml. can purchased online from Beautiful Beers while on a recent visit home, and drunk here in Taipei. Aroma: fresh grass, nothing besides. Appearance: opaque cola, one finger tan head. Palate: light-bodied, and oily, average carbonation; roasted finish with an unexpected salty hit. Taste: lightly sweet, the roast seems understated, not sure what to make of the salt. Pretty average, the aroma is a mystery - something wrong?

Cask at Cask Pub and Kitchen, Pimlico, London. No aroma. Gold. Extremely bitter. It was the right kind of West coats bitterness for the most part but it was just overly dominant.

Cask at CBC, Covent Garden on 26th April 2025. Clear amber with shallow, loose off-white foam and spot lacing. Spiced hops in aroma. Lush hoppiness of peel and spice in-mouth, and a lasting bitter finish with smokiness. Medium bodied with a smooth mouthfeel.

Hazy orange/golden pour with a lasting white head. Aromas of pine, pineapple, mango, grapefruit, some hay. Taste is grapefruit, melon, malt, herbs - decent bitter finish. Liked it.

[Cask at the Greyfriar, Reading.] A pale chestnut pour with a ring of white head; malty aroma with a hint of spice; smooth and creamy in the mouth with an earthy malt taste; then a dry finish with some nuts and caramel and an earthy bitterness. A pleasant traditional bitter.
