Draught from Waterfront Ale House. Fairly golden pour, milde head, had that soily wet hop aroma, ok finish but nothing amazing here.

Notes from July 2009 Growler from Whole Foods. Last beer of the night(there is still some cider to go). :D Belgian Golden Ale refermented w/ wild yeast for six months. Ommegang stem. Top fill. Always scared these overfills are going to be under-carbonated. Pleasantly surprised though to see a pretty dollop of mayo-ish head laying on top of a body of chill-hazed golden orange banana liquor. Still a little cold, it smells particularly of mildly sour apricots, faintly of green apples, along with some a solid amounts of dough, alcohol, & yeast. Nothing spectacular, but I'm still working on it. Warming up, it adds a little weirdness to it with some popcorn. I think it's stable enough to move on now. Taste is primarily doughy, followed by tons of citric acid. Spritzy bite, sour orange follow through. A little grassy & golden like a sloppy Orval clone. Carbonation remains intact throughout to fulfill a more expected sour & yeasty backdrop. Frothy, with a clean finish. Sticky cobweb lace reminds me that I should run that dishwasher before something starts growing in there. Very easy. Did I forget to mention thanks to my Ruskie neighbor Alexi for getting me some of this while I was away on business. Former KGBs like craft beer too. :D
