Can, 0.5l bought on that gas station where we got 3-4 more beers. Poured a darker yellow body with a big whtie head. Sweetish malty nose, some vegetables, quite typical but ok. Ok taste, some light piney, maybe dry lemony notes from the hop. Simple though, couldn’t call it watery, but hardly heavy. Tasty in a way, unspectacular as it is, above average among the pale lagers we’ve had in Germany. Light bitterish aftertaste, quite light. Ok.

(bottle) Clear, chestnut colour with a big and beige, also quite firm foamy head. Slightly sweet, ashy and leafy malty aroma with notes of caramel, a whiff of liquorice and slightly herbal hops. Moderately bitter and slightly sweet flavour, light to medium bodied with an almost crispy carbonation. Crusty malty with notes of dark bread, caramel and some herbal hoppy spots; moderately dry and bitter finish with roasted malt character and lighter herbal hops, also a tinge of metal. Much better than expected. 29.XI.09

50 cl bottle thanks to Alex and Rhonda!Marked 4.8% ABV, BB Feb 2010, tasted on October 27, 2009Clear pale golden color, big fluffy lasting white head. Malty, grainy, sweet, slight bit acidic, some caramel, bread like, also earthy hoppy bitter scent. Malty, sweet, sugar like, some vegetables, dryish bitter taste. Bitter and earthy hoppy aftertaste. Medium to smooth mouthfeel. Medium bitterness. Dry bitter feeling after a while. Very drinkable, but not very interesting, fairly standard. Would be interesting if possible to try fresh on draught, preferable if found non-pasteurized.

Bottle. It’s a clear, dark copper colored beer topped by a finger-thick beige head soon disappearing. Bready, nutty almost cola like nose with hints of dried figs and malztrunk. Smooth, a bit effervescent mouthfeel, semi-dry and medium-bodied. The flavor has caramel and hazelnuts with a bready touch and some faint notes of dried fruits. Slightly metallic finish with some bitterness and a balancing maltyness. A quite decent one, a bit on the sweet side, at least when it warms up. 091010

Cola color; small creamy head. Cheap cola aroma. Soap and cola flavor, almost no bitterness. Quite disgusting.
