650 ml bottle. Pours a very dark red.brown with large foamy head. Aromas of roasted malts, light smoke, and light pine hops. Flavors of light roasted malts, a hint of smoke, light pine, and light chocolate. Quite crisp and refreshing. Interesting when chilled. An appetizer.

650 ml bottle. Pours a dark, cloudy amber with light head. Aromas of grapefruit, toffee, and dough. Flavors of pine/spruce, resin, lemons, toasted malts, and a bit of brown sugar. Very nice DIPA

Got this 6-pack "Un-paralleled Mixed Pack" at the LCBO with 3 different beers. Pours a clean amber-golden colour with a big frothy warm cap, good retention and dirty lace. Was expecting a hopbomb, as their Gypsy Tears Ruby Ale I had last night, was quite hoppy for an amber ale. Nope. Mild citrus nose with hints of sweet malts. The hop is even less in the taste. Wet mouthfeel with just a tad of bitterness, bringing minimal dryness. Almost more malty than hoppy. Fruity malts with the slight citrus and caramel notes. Not bad. Just surprised how the other was not an IPA, and was quite hoppy. Pretty tame for an IPA with the name "Hoparazzi".

Got this 6-pack "Un-paralleled Mixed Pack" at the LCBO with 3 different beers. Pours a real deep amber colour with a frothy light beige head that has great retention and foamy lace. For an amber ale, this has got quite the hoppy nose. Feels like an IPA with some grapefruits citrusy aromas and very light fruity malts. The taste is where it feels like an amber ale with mild roasted malts, caramel, nuts and coffee notes. Not as bitter, but a slight dryness from the hop comes out in the mouthfeel. The pines resin does appear after a while. So, badly printed label, but a decent amber ale a-la-IPA. Interesting hybrid.

650 ml bottle. Pours a dark copper color with light head. Aromas of biscuit, dried grass, copper, and toasted malts. Flavors of bread/biscuit, light resin, a little candy, and toasted malts. Non offensive and easy to drink but not up to the Parallel 49 norm.

650 ml bottle. Pours a dark mahogany with light head. Aromas of biscuit, toasted malt and grass. Similar taste with an element of dried fruit. Sharp but not strong. Nice enough.

On tap at the Alibi Room, pours a dark amber with a medium creamy beige head. Aroma of toasted bread, some dry fruity notes and light hops piercing through. Flavour is brings out toasted bread and some very dry fruity notes. Mouthfeel is dry and creamy. Nicely crafted and drinkable, but not so exciting. Decent stuff.

On tap at the Alibi Room, pours a deep dark amber / black with a medium beige head. Aroma of roasted malt, loads of citrus hops, and some light fruity esters. Flavour is quite dry and roasted, tasting just like a CDA, with dry roasted malt, dry toasted bread, and piney hops. Quite flavourful and round, with any harshness. Awesome schwarzbier that tastes more like a CDA.

Flavour brings out Belgian yeast, banana, and some moderate farmhouse notes. Light-bodied and dominated by the banana-like fruity esters. Easily drinkable but not the most sophisticated.

650mL bottle, pours a cloudy orange with a small off-white head. Lovely hoppy aromatics, with pungent notes of piney resinous hops, caramel, and floral notes. Flavour is wonderfully hoppy, with loads of floral hops, pine, caramely biscuity malt, and a little resin. Very hoppy flavour with little astringency, but more like a fresh bouquet of flowers mixed with hoppy pine cones. Fantastic balance, but still wonderfully hoppy. Awesome stuff. The quality of this drops off a lot after a few weeks -- becoming more candied and malt-driven -- so drink this as fresh as possible.
