Panda at home thanks to Ed Danlo. A clear petrol coloured pour with a fading fizzy white head. Aroma is vanilla, musty fruit, mouldy funk, damp hay, Flavour is composed of dry musty fruit, pear, apple, vanilla, spores, fresh fruit, light tang. Palate is crisp and tart moderate carbonation. ok.

Panda at home, thanks to Ed Danlo, 27/10/24. Pale yellow with a thin white cap that veers edgewards. Nose is tangy pear, hedgerow, herb, straw, trace of blackcurrant. Taste comprises pear, tannins, light orchard wood, straw, herb, touch of elderflower, berry pips. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, drying close. Not bad.

500ml bottle from Cat in the Glass, for #rgpm. Batch No 18, 5.1%. Pale golden colour, afew short-lived bubbles on top and aroma of perry pear, slight funk. Taste is sweetish & tart, perry pear, fleshy, fruity, floral, slight acetic funk note, with caramel & vanilla hints, and some citric acidity plus alittle tannin. Light bodied, low carbonation, drying tart citric peary finish. Nicely drinkable.

500ml bottle from Cat in the Glass, for #rgpm. Batch No 19. Sparkling, pale golden colour, fizzy white foam head and aroma of oil, vegetal, hay, leather, funk. Taste is perry pear, elderflower, lemon citric, vanilla, custard hint, with acidity and slight tannin. Medium bodied, light carbonation, drying citric peary finish. Nicely drinkable.

1/5/2024. Bottle shared by danlo, cheers Ed! Pours clear pale gold with a small bubbly white head. Aroma is funky, caramel, woody, vanilla, brown sugar, vinegar edge. Medium sweetness, light bitterness and tartness. Sugary sweet finish. Enjoyable.

Taste is sweet, fruity perry pear, floral, citric, gooseberry, fleshy, alittle funk, wood, with some mellow acidity and light tannin. Medium bodied, light carbonation, drying peary finish. Nicely drinkable.

Sample thanks to Danlo. Cheers mate. Pours a misty yellow. Fresh fruity nose, moderately sweet perry pear fruit to taste, mild vanilla, gentle carbonation, good balanced acidity, perhaps more akin to a apple cider than an oily sweet perry. Pretty good.

Taste is sweetish, perry pear, fruity, tart, funky, with caramel, vanilla notes, along with some acidity and tannin. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, dry peary finish. Nicely drinkable.
