Clear golden coloured body with a thin white head and a nice refreshing rice and citrus smell. Light-bodied; Pungent malt flavour with some light rice and metallic tastes and a good malty, mild finish. Aftertaste is relatively uncomplicated with light sweetness and a touch of fresh lemons on the end with the pungent malt and touch of metal. Overall, not a bad lager and showing some unique (lemon) flavours compared to other pales you’ll find in Vietnam. I sampled this 33 cL bottle purchased in Saigon, Vietnam on 31-December-2009.

Clear golden coloured body with a thin white head. Aroma of light but relatively fresh malt. Light-bodied; Pungent malt with some light metallic notes but mostly a fresh feel with some very light sweetness (perhaps from rice?) on the end. Aftertaste shows a nice refreshing feel with more malt and metal coming through. Overall, not such a bad beer, but definitely not great - even for the style. I sampled this 33 cL bottle purchased at many locations here in Saigon, Vietnam on 30-December-2009.

bottle from papsoe. My first beer from Vietnam. Country #83 clear yellow, smooth white head. Flowery, herbal, cabbage in the aroma. Grass or hay. Does not smell good. flavor is like most other macro pale lagers, except some hay, some herbal notes, and a strange hop profile. (not bad, just strange). You could get used to this i guess.

Bottled. A light golden beer with a white head. The aroma has skunky notes of brewing cereal. The flavor is sweet with notes of rice and brewing cereal lending it skunky notes and leads to a dry metallic finish. Thanks Papsoe for sharing.
