Found at a supermarket in Paris. Pours average yellow, decent head. Aroma is of slightly roasted grains. Taste is fermented barley, fruits. Kind of smooth, not awful.

Pour is a bright gold with a small white head. Aroma is of grass and sweet grain. Flavor is again sweet grain and no hops at all. Gets a better score b/c its a little more flavorful than your average BMC.

As bia toui from a bia hoi stand in Pham Ngu Lao, Saigon. Pale yellow colour. Big but very loose head that falls quickly. Somewhat appely aroma with lots of grains. Bland, grainy with that characteristic tongue-coating note of a classic bia hoi.

Terrible lager, typical of developing countries that need to branch out a bit more and brew something a little bit different.

From a can drank on the back of a moped through the streets of Da Nang. It was cold and went down easy. Lacked much flavor but did have light sweetness from the malts and some apple, as well. It did it’s job- just barely.

Downed countless bottles of this stuff in some local watering holes in Da Nang. Rather tasteless though there is some noticeable sweetness throughout. It helped me beat the heat of the winter sun, though, so it gets a win for that.
