Pours deep golden with a big, fluffy head. Aramoa is fat, sweet malt with notes of bananas. Flavour is fat and malty sweet.Finish has notes of green apples. The bottle looks like Pilsner Urquell but the beer tastes like Staropramen; I’d been happier if it was the other way around.

0.5 l can courtesy of Doggythedog, thanks for sharing! It poured pale golden body with small head. Very weak aroma, some malty notes, but nothing unpleasant, which is a great thing for the style. Flavor is also fine as it could be, a bit corny and sweetish malty. Some acidity in its finish besides sweetness. Drinkable and quite refreshing, I see the point of this NA, unlike 95% of the others.

0.5l can brought from Slovakia by a friend (thanks Ivana!) Poured a paaaale golden colour with a small white head that went away slow, lively carbonation. Honeyish, slightly herbal nose, not bad for a n/a, light dust too. Empty taste, faint notes of slightly soapy lemon, very watery, very light cardboard, some acidity. Hmm Dull but not offensive at all, no real n/a off flavors which is a good thing. Yay a n/a that doesn’t suck.

Biggish white head. Yellow body with light carbonation. Grainy rye and caramel aroma. Dry rubbery chalky rye and caramel taste with hoppy notes. Mid-bodied. Dry rubbery hoppy aftertaste with grainy rubbery caramel notes. Decent, but boring. (0.33l bottle, Hell Hunt, Tallinn.)

Sample at the Eurostash tasting on 04/30/09: Can from a small tourist bar at the river port in Bratislava. This beer is a brownish-amber color with a thin beige head that diminishes steadily. Thin top ring of lacing with some spots underneath. Sweet malty aroma with notes of coffee. Medium body with flavors of roasted malt, fruit and mild chocolate. The finish is smooth and malty with a caramel malt aftertaste. Slightly above average overall.

Sample at the Eurostash tasting on 04/30/09: Can from a small tourist bar at the river port in Bratislava. This brew is a clear golden color with a medium frothy white head that recedes steadily. Spotty lacing on the glass. Mild hops aroma with a touch of citrus zest. Light body with a clean mouthfeel and flavors of mildly spiced hops, bready malt and citrus. The finish is grassy hops with a short citrus aftertaste. Barely average overall.
