500ml swing-top bottle with red wax seal, kindly donated by Kolschtrinker. Drunk on Christmas Eve watching La Belle et le Bete. Pours a deep gold, large white head. Pleasant sweet malt on the nose. Taste bears an appealing sweetness, lightly buttery, clean with a modest bitterness. Delicious, moreish low-bitterness pils.

500ml wax-sealed swing-top bottle, courtesy of Kolshtrinker down there. Many thanks! Pours with a hazed golden weizen glow, good pure white head. Aroma has good floral weizen esters, continuing to taste with a semi-sweet character, soft bananery notes, light spice, generally well-rounded. Pretty decent.

Bottle:Hazy, deep amber coloured, quite big and quite stable off-white head, astonishingly dry herbal to medical-hoppy nose with a distinctive dark-malty and chocolatey background; moderate bitter-sweet flavour, medium bodied and pretty soft; lingering herbal-hoppy and sweet dark-malty finish. Unusual, but nevertheless well balanced and well drinkable Bock...

Langer malziger, intensiv bitterer Nachhall. Gut! 11/12/10/12/10/12

(swing top bottle) Hazy, murky amber colour with a beige and loose foamy head. Fruity, piney and herbal spicy hoppy aroma with notes of citrus, dark and red berries, backed by mildly hints of toasted malt and caramel. Bitter-sweet flavour, medium bodied with a smooth carbonation. Dark malty start with toasted notes, caramel, as well as juicy fruity and slightly piney hoppy accents; slightly sticky finish with juicy hops and herbal-spice and cautious hints of cough syrup in the aftertaste. Likeable brew. 12.III.18

Beugelbuddel (BBF 24/3/2018): Light amber coloured, hazy, big and slowly collapsing loose yellowish head; dry herbal-bitter nose, a certain amount of sweetish pale malt in the background; moderate bitter-sweet flavour, pretty light bodied for a beer of 5.5%, not overly soft; lingering dry herbal-bitter finish, balancing malt hard to detect. Too thin, too unharmonic...
