A little grain and some herbs. Pine. A little contamination. Pours hazy golden with decent head and lacing. Clean finish with some tang. Tap at Snekutis.

On tap at Snekutis, pours a cloudy dark orange with a small beige head. Aroma brings out light honey, with bready malt and toasted caramel. Flavour is along the same lines, with honey, toasted caramel, and bready malt. Earthy and honey notes on the finish. Odd but drinkable.

On tap at Snekutis, pours a deep dark orange with a small beige head. Aroma brings out light earthy notes, a touch of honey and bready notes. Flavour is lightly sweet, with cereal malts, bread malts, and earthiness. Somewhat yeasty and light-to-medium on sweetness. Nothing special, but it's decent.

On tap in Snekutis Stepono as Jovaru Snekutis. Amber colour, hazy, small head. Aroma is spices, straw, dried fruit. Light bitterness. Full body. Good, but not easy to drink.

Draft at Snekutis Stepono. Cloudy golden amber color. Funky bready aroma. Taste is sweet and sour floral honey. 8-3-8-3-11-3.3 Tasted again from a bottle at the source. More clear than its draft brother. Aroma is bready with light funk. Taste is tart, fruity, bready. Special.

Fra fat på Snekutis Stepono, Vilnius: uklar kobber med flott skum helt til siste dråpe. Deilig aroma og enda bedre smak av lys malt, lyse bær, generøs honning og litt urter. Blir allikevel ikke for søt, bare superforfriskende med elegant bitterhet.

0,2 glass fra fat (planke) på Alaus Biblioteka, Vilnius: uklar brunfarge med svært kort skum. Brød, malt og blomster i en interessant smakskombinasjon og med svært lav bitterhet - minner om norsk hesjeøl. Iflg den entusiastiske bartenderen brygget av Litauens 70 år gamle "queen of Lithuanian farmhouse ales". Nokså flat men en spesiell ettersmak som varer. Uvanlig og spennende smaksopplevelse.

ON TAP at Snekutis. Rustic aroma of cooked apples, oatmeal and a touch of vanilla. A little tart/fermenting. The taste is light sweet and nutty, light spicy phenolics resembling spicy goat cheeses. Unique and good.
