Maple syrup, strawberry, nutmeg, biscuit malt, and straw aroma. Hazy golden yellow with minimal head. Lightly sweet maple syrup, strawberry, biscuit malt, moderately sour citric acid, and mildly bitter hay flavor. Okay body.

$1.79 can, TWSP. Black with a beige-tan head. Peanut butter, chai spice, cheap chocolate candy nose. Peanut butter, cheap chocolate candy, light chai spice. Why does DuClaw's chocolate always taste like the cheapest candies you can find in a closeout bin at a CVS? This had a chance to be quite good, but it's just artificial tasting.

16 oz can. Pours a very dark brown with a full tan head. Aromas of lactose, sweet chocolate, and slick roasted malts. Flavors of bitter nuts, roasted malts, and sugar. Not well balanced and a lot more bitter than expected.

12 oz. can from Total Wine. Pours a clear gold color with an off white head and decent retention. Fair lacing. Standard pale malt aroma. I can't really identify the tamarind powder or Chipotle peppers flavors. It just tastes a little different than a regular lager - but not better. Barely there spices. Slick mouthfeel. Medium body. Nice try, I guess.

16 oz. can, pours black with a medium tan head. Aroma brings out roasted malt, toasted almonds, and brown sugar. Flavour is pretty much the same, with a nice mix of roasted malt, brown sugar and roasted almond. Really nice interplay of roast and brown sugar. Not much almond character other than a gentle toasted nut character. Very tasty.
