Draft pour. Pours light with little to no head. Flavor is mostly corn with a lot of grassy, earthy flavors as well. Nothing too much stands out from this one. Very plain. It was very much drinkable, but I’ll call it just okay.

Bomber 321 of 360 from Malt & Vine. Pours dark copper with a slight beige head. Aroma is sort of mixed brown sugar and leather. Maybe some very mild Brett notes. Whoa! The flavor has no relation to aroma - xpt maybe brown sugar. Strong impact. Definite brett. Astringent oak. Bourbon. Something I can’t identify but suggests celery. In a way it’s sort like (I imagine) licking the barrel. Not a trace of heat. But the other flavors are so strong and different the alcohol might just be lost. I can believe there are Belgian yeast/spice/fruity esters, but ... I do believe there is fruit. Anybody had bourboned peaches? This stuff really stretches the imagination. Finishing sort of brett, sort of tart, sort of sour, sort of fruit, sort of wood, sort of .... Someone is either extremely knowledgeable about barrels, or extremely fortunate. Glad to have had this. Note: Mostly through the bottle, and I have decided there’s chocolate. Goes nicely with the sour fruit aspects.

Bottled at Flying Elk, Stockholm. Almost clear amber, small head. Caramel, bread and light grapefruit. Light-medium body, clean mouthfeel. Paper and caramel, some tea. Mid bitter finish.

Bomber from Malt & Vine. Pours very dark brown with a dark tan head. Aroma of chocolate, treacle, vanilla, wood. Full bodied. Flavor is oily wood (strange this), chocolate, treacle, smooth dark malt, nuts, and some other unidentifiable flavors. Probably coffee. There is a lot of "stuff" in this. The malt bill must have been expensive. I don’t know what to say. It’s extremely tasty, but the flavors are very complex. It’s finishing not quite dry. Yet there’s bitterness. Maybe the oak chips have done something rather different here.

2014-01-11, draught at Pumphouse, Richmond, BC, new keg, 7-5-7-3-14=36
Hazy amber color with compact head. The aroma is strong, hoppy, fruity, earthy. The flavor is also strong, harsh, maybe too bitter, with some light butter feeling.
Fresh. Should be refined, but it’s not bad.

Hazy amber color with small creamy head. It has some caramel aroma and flavor; correct bitterness but limited hop qualities overall; unfortunately it also has a feeling of dirty water.
Not excited by this beer…

Was hoping for more after seeing the towering head on pour. Aroma is faint to non-existent and taste is malt with a flat hops bite on the finish. Very close to a pale lager in body and appearance. Thick head lasted to bottom of glass, even after the beer was gone.

On Tap at the new "Yard House" in Meridian, ID Deep dark brown with a huge tan head. Warm soft dark malty aromas and flavors with intersting belgian yeast notes mixed in. A belgian sweet stout? Rich and smooth palatte. Very nice

Borefts Beer Festival 5. Day 2. Thanks to Colin for this bottle. Hazy amber beer with a small pale cream coloured head. Palate is light and a little soft and airy. Fine carbonation. Light, dry creamy malt. Dried fruits. Finishes dry and soft. It’s standard stuff but quite drinkable.
