Keg at Bottlecraft - San Diego. Pours hazy yellow-gold with a big, frothy, pure white head. Lovely aroma, some grass, green herbs, wheat flakes, lemon peel, straw. Light sweet flavour with notes of grapefruit, zesty lemon and grapefruit, some wheat bread, mellow grassy bitterness. Medium bodied with fine, massaging carbonation. Nicely balanced finish, with further zesty citrus, some pithy grapefruit, saison yeast, dried herbs, grass. Pretty solid overall.

MBCC 2018. Yellow. Keg. A Theydon Bois whip cracking power rate. Hazy pale gold beer, no head. Light dry palate, decent fine minerally carbonation. Sharp lemon and a little soap, not a great start then. Some generic tart fruits underneath. Light crisp finish. No thanks.

Keg at MBCC 2018 Red (session Trois), 11/05/18. Hazed light golden yellow with a decent off white covering. Nose is lemon tinged straw, grass, light spice, herbal, sprucey tones. Taste comprises pissy citric notes, light hop tang, orange pith, damp hay, grains, light funk. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Ok saison.

Keg at MBCC 2018 Red (session Trois), 11/05/18. Light golden blonde pour with a decent off white covering. Nose is smoke, mellow peat, lemon pissoi, singed straw. Taste comprises smoked malts, grains, light spice, tea leaves, lemon tinged straw, Lapsang tea notes. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Passable ... a touch disjointed and smoke heavy ... nothing I'd revisit.

On tap at MBCC green (fourth) session. Misty pale golden body, decent white head leaving crocheted lacing on the glass. Saison fruity aroma, moment of grain. Mid-sour peachy flavours with a basement touch. Dry and semi-tart fruit ending. Soft on the swallow. Satisfying. (Copenhagen 12.05.2018).

Bottle thanks to Chow. Pours a cloudy orange gold with small white head. The aroma is oak, apple skin, lemon, floral, funk. Thin bottle, oak, apple, citrus, funk, nice tartness, enjoyed this.

Bottle share: pours gold with a white head. Aroma is light funkiness and flowers. Taste has a bunch of citrus actually. Light. Sort of aour. Pleasant nevertheless. Surprisingly long aftertaste.
