Keg at CW Family & Friends, Session 1 @Manchester Central, 21/02/20. Clear golden blonde with a decent off white covering. Nose is pale malts, grass, breads, herb, faint citric drizzle. Taste comprises damp straw, grains, herb, yeast, lemon peel, faint stoned fruit esters. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a light tangy edge. Fine.

Nose is toasted grains, herb, funk, stoned fruits, grape must. Taste comprises damp straw, grains, herb, funk, white grape, wood must, green berry skins, lemon peel. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a light tangy edge. Decent sour.

12 oz. can. Pours an unclear, brown color, with a dense, fine, tan head. The nose is brown bread, cardamom, dates, light licorice, lemon zest, and bitter pecans. Sweet and heavily malty, with a touch of bitterness. Medium body, frothy, and clean. Bold, yeasty, and well made.

12 oz. can. Pours black, with a small, tan head. The nose is walnut, cloves, light cacao, maple, chicory, toasted oak, vanilla, and toffee. Very sweet and syrupy with a biting bitterness. Heavy, chewy, and thick. Balanced, lovely, and thoroughly enjoyable.
