A pale blonde lager with a thin white head. In aroma, light adjunct corn malt with light grassy hops, light mineral notes, so-so. In mouth, a nice sweet grainy malt with light grassy hops, light mineral notes, OK. Can from Hipermaxi, La Paz.

A dark brown beer with a thin brown head. In aroma, sweet fruity caramel malt with light grassy notes, light chocolate, OK. In mouth, a sweet fruity malt with light chocolate notes, light roasted notes, light butterscotch, a tad cloying, so-so. Can from Hipermaxi, La Paz.

A clear brown beer with a thick frothy collapsing brown head. In aroma, sweet fruity caramel malt with light grassy hops, light roasted notes, OK. In mouth, a sweet cloying caramel malt with light roasted notes, sweet and cloying, not my thing. Can from Hypermaxi, La Paz.

33cl bottle pours a deep brown with some foamy, white head. Nose has lots of turbinado sugar, root veg, rootbeer. Flavor is sweet, brown sugar, rootbeer. Thin finish.

Negra. Espuma ocre. Aroma plano. Sabor malteado, pero extraordinariamente dulce, pura azucar. No tnego claro si es cerveza. Desde luego si solo existiera esta en el mundo yo no estaria escribiendo esto ahora.

Pajiza ultraclara. Mucha burbuja fina. Buena espuma. Aroma poco agradable, afortunadamente muy escaso. Muy ligera, aguada. Dulzona sacarina. Final amargo algo metálico. Floja.

Nice appearance with lingering head and a dark brown body, plenty of carbonation visible. Aroma is very soft malts and coffee. Flavour is intense low-alcohol sweetness with a sugary finish. Surprisingly this contains alcohol, which is a huge hit as it would work much better as a zero alcohol drink.

Has no aroma to speak of. It has barely any head and a boring yellow body. Flavour is a whole lot of nothing with a hint of lemon. Oily finish. It’s a bad light beer, so sad, so predictable.

Found at a café in Sucre. Aroma is soft scotch and sweet oak. It has a nice black body with a resonating head. Flavour is a complex but disorganized mess of licorice and molasses with a hint of brown sugar. Medium finish. It’s a good effort but needs a fair bit of tweaking.
