Bottle 33cl. Black beer with a creamy beige head. It smells to toasted sweet malts with a taste similar to a coffee with 10 sugar spoons inside, very, very, very sweet. Not drinkable for my taste. Medium body and soft carbonation.

Cafe Citron, DC 11.8oz ($6): Drank out of the bottle. Everybody seems to be talking smack on this beer, but I thought it was at least interesting for a pale lager. First off, it had some actual taste aside of water and corn. There seemed to be some malts that put it a little up in my book. Second, I have never seen a 11.8 ounce bottle. For nothing else, this beer is remarkable. I thought it was drinkable, and it is my first beer from Bolivia.

03/10 0.35 l can, courtesy of ogivlado, thanks for sharing and a new beercountry! It poured golden body with medium head. Strange lemony and slightly alcoholic aroma. Sweetish flavor, still herbal and lemony with some alcohol felt. Medium bodied beer with fine sweetish finish, where alcohol still isn’t too predominant. Nothing special of course, but totally acceptable for me.

Canned 350ml. -Pale golden coloured, small to medium sized white head that went away fast, slight herbal alcoholic nose. Quite alcoholic but not so sweet taste with some weak herbal and vegetables notes. Hint of green apple in rather alcoholic finish. One-dimensional but drinkable. 7.2%

Says "7%" in huge font on the label but also says it’s 7.2%, lovely. My first Bolivian rate, huge thanks to ogivlado! Poured a golden body with a medium sized thick white head that went away relatively slow. The nose is grainy with some alcohol and vegetables, maybe "herbs" if I’m generous. Sticky taste loaded with alcohol, some apple, not much warmth. Crap.
