Half-litre flip-top bottle shared between four at the May 2014 Shrewsbury Beer Swap: BBD 12 July 2014. Cheers Mat. This Dunkel had a herbal nose and feel to it throughout the tasting, semi-sweet malts ruled the taste with a distinct toffee flavour towards the finish, yet in the background you could taste those herbal/spice notes. Nice brew with a good depth of body and flavouring.

BOTTLE 33CL from Beerhunter. Thanks, Hans Peter. BB 04/2014.
Look: clear dark amber/brandy with yeast sediment. Light-tan creamy-to-frothy head.
Aroma: sweet, almost vanilla, honey, quince marmalade, subdued zesty hops.
Taste: medium fruitiness, honey, a tad tart, light bitterness, almost no hop flavour, body too thin. Freshness might be a factor.

Sehr gut! 11/12/12/10//11
