Draught: Poured a murky orange that cleared up to golden, with a white head. The aroma is harvest with grass and hops. The taste is quite fresh with grain and a nice bitter hops finish.

300ml sampled with Eva at the brewpub. Alcohol:4.9%. Served in an original Kraft glass Foggy, golden body with no head. Grassy aroma with some fruity hints. Slightly sweet taste of orange. Well- bodied for the style (Blesius Garten, Olewig 12.09.2007).

300ml von Fass at the brewpub. 5% alcohol content. Filmy, off-white head over a hazy, dark brown body. Roasted malty aroma. Good variation in taste with dark malts, almost brittle, leading onwards to roasted coffee. With a more full-bodied palate this could have been a very distinctive brew (Blesius Garten, Trier-Olewig 12.09.2007).

300ml von Fass at Blesius Garten, which houses the brewpub. Hazy orange head. Some persistent white foam that left lacing on the glass. Aroma of cloves and banana. The flavour is dominated by sweet, late banana with a yeasty touch in the ending. Slightly watered. Very refreshing after a long walk from Trier (Weinort Olewig, 12.09.2007).
