20/1/2024. Bottle shared at CLBF/IKL. From DanF, cheers. Pours black with a small creamy beige head. Aroma is molasses, chocolate, liquorice, caramel, roasted malts, biscuit, coffee, dark fruits. Medium sweetness, roasted bitterness and body. Creamy and smooth, average to soft carbonation. Enjoyable.

Bottle pour at the April DC Ratebeer tasting. Poured a clear yellow color with a fizzy, white head. Aroma was processed vanilla frosting. Sweet apple candy. Apples!

A: hazy black, stable, frothy, beige head.
A: burnt cookie, cappuccino, toast, fondant, cream, vanilla.
T: sweet prune & pear, cookie, toast & fudge; bitter coffee & cream.
F: herbal hops, burnt cookie, coffee roast.
P: medium body, creamy texture, average carbonation.
Ridiculously overpriced, but a pretty good Stout in an amazing setting.
