The worst thing I can say about this beer is that it is a swill lager with a genuine hop character. And that’s not that bad! At worst, its a great beer if you’re a believer in training wheels intro’s for your swill drinking friends. Pours a straw color, but with a 2 finger creamy head. Aroma is zesty and spicy (thyme) hops. Flavor is also hop accented, with the thymey hops prevalent front to back. Malt sweetness is virtually non-existent. The palate is expectedly light, as a result, but not overly thin and watery. The finish is hoppy bitter, but on the light end, as the beer on the whole is lightly flavored. As I said, essentially a swill lager, but with a nice, genuine hop character. Sample was from a can (not directly of course) at 11am on Father’s Day.

Boah schmeckt das Zeug übel! Das toppt ja alles, meine Zehennägel rollen sich, bah! Bitterer, unglaublich bitterer Geschmack von von bis hinten ohne Aussicht auf etwas anderes. Sonst nur Wasser, wahrscheinlich besser so, wenn ich mir bei diesem Zeug noch ein anderes genau so beißendes Aroma vorstelle, dann Gute Nacht. Teufelszeug! Das Etikett wirkt mir zu überladen mit dem Versuch einen auf Trendy machen, aber das ist gescheitert. Leicht süßer Antrunk, etwas herb, dann ergreift ein komischer malziger, trockener und undefinierbarer Geschmack die Zunge und lässt dieses ekelhafte Aroma noch lange nachwirken. Wenn ein Bier das prädikat "Plörre" verdient hat, dann dieses Zeug! Test vom 5.6.2006, Gebinde: Glasflasche Noten: 9,5,3,1,6,3 - 3,75

Light roasted chocolaty aroma. Dark brown, failing head. Watery, sugary, minerally, slightly skunky. How can you consistently fail to brew a good beer like that?

(bottle) Hazy and pale yellow colour with a fluffy lacey white foam. Slightly sour and sweet wheaty and clovy, also dense banana-fruity nose with lactic notes. Watery, lively carbonated, slightly papery taste, lactic and slightly tart finish.

(bottle) Clear and pale golden colour with a foamy white medium head. Soapy, grassy and slightly papery hoppy aroma. Papery flavour and taste, light bodied malty taste, crispy carbonated, watery light bitter and slightly grassy hoppy finish. Drinkable under extreme conditions.
