Introducing The Goodness Brewing Co, born in the vibrant heart of North London's Wood Green in 2018. Founded by friends Damien Legg, Mike Stirling, Joe Louis Sheasgreen, Oliver Newbery and Zack Ahmed, we're now nearly a decade strong, led by head brewer Josh Billington.

Cask at the Pineapple, Kentish Town on 14th May 2024. Slightly hazy amber with yellowy white foam and full lacing. Zesty peel aroma. Richly fruity in-mouth with zesty citrus peel and intense tropical fruitiness. A tangy citrus and tropical fruit finish. Medium bodied with a smooth yet engaging mouthfeel. Absolutely superb.

(Cask at Craft Beer Covent Garden, London, 15 Nov 2023) Reddish amber colour with foamy, beige head. Malty nose with notes of caramel, dried fruit, blackberries and dark bread. Malty taste with caramel, blackberries, dried fruit, chocolate, dark fruit and a mild citric/spicy bitterness. Medium body, with a certain sweetness. Interesting, a bit different, but really tatsy. Very nice.

On tap at Craft Beer Co - Clerkenwell, pours a deep dark brown with a small beige head. Aroma brings out cinnamon, milk and toasted malt. Flavour is somewhat metallic, with gentle cinnamon metallic notes, and toasted malt. Metallic and gently sweet. Not very good.

On tap at Craft Beer Co - Clerkenwell, pours a cloudy golden yellow with a small white head. Aroma is full of lacto, with gentle tart passionfruit. Flavour is full of lacto upfront, with plenty of passionfruit and tart pithy stone fruits. Yogurty and fruity. It's alright for a kettle sour.

Keg at Craft Beer Co, Covent Garden, 16/02/24. Black with a khaki cap. Nose is chocolate, toffee, dark malts, light roast, spice, herb. Taste comprises cocoa powder, gingerbread biscuit, mellow roast. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, drying close. Decent stout.

Keg at Brewdog Exeter. Pours hazed pale yellow with white foam. Aroma of citrus, grapefruit, pineappe. Moderate sweet with low bitterness, sugary sweet. Light to medium body with light carbonation.

On tap at The Barrel & Horn, Bromley. Hazy orange pour with a white head. Grapefruit, tangerine & lime nose. Taste is awash with citrus, spot of apricot. Zesty citrusy finish. Rather enjoyable.

Keg at Craft Beer Co Covent Garden. Aroma has bitter citrus and a hazy sweetness... lemon drops. Slightly opaque gold. Thick fluffy foamy white head. Medium bitter. Citrus. Herbs. Resinous streak. Spice. Light-medium bodied. Slick. Average-fizzy carbonation. Long dry somewhat astringent finish. Big beer flavourwise.
