Description
Situated just off the West coast of Scotland the Isle of Arran is arguably one of the most beautiful and dramatic islands in Europe. The splendour and diversity of the landscape has led it to be considered by many as Scotland in miniature. Nestled between the islands largest mountain, Goatfell, and the imposing Brodick Castle lies Arran Brewery which has been brewing award winning craft beer for over two decades.

Opened in late March 2000. The 20BBL plant originated at the Tipsy Toad Townhouse.

Botled. Orange/amber colour. Aroma of hay and caramel. Sweet, roasty and well hopped with soft mouthfeel. The body is light and there are notes of melon. Bitter, resiny finish. A really good, very drinkable beer.

A slightly hazy orange beer with a beutiful white head. The aroma is very spicy and flowery, with notes of elderflowers. The flavor is sweet and very spicy - again elderflowers shines thru - the end is dry both from the spices and hops. A very refreshing beer.

A hazy dark orange beer, very carbonized which gives a froathy light brown head. The aroma is sweet with notes of oranges and caramel. The flavor is very roasty and bisquity with notes of caramel, that gives it an OK sweetness, but it is very well balanced with a dry slighlty bitter and slightly woody end.

A very sweet hoppy aroma with notes of grass. A great aroma. The color is amber and it has a beutiful head. The flavor is very hoppy - mostly bitter hops - on a sweet background - combined with notes of caramel, bread, and flowers. A quite nice beer.
