Description
Situated just off the West coast of Scotland the Isle of Arran is arguably one of the most beautiful and dramatic islands in Europe. The splendour and diversity of the landscape has led it to be considered by many as Scotland in miniature. Nestled between the islands largest mountain, Goatfell, and the imposing Brodick Castle lies Arran Brewery which has been brewing award winning craft beer for over two decades.
Opened in late March 2000. The 20BBL plant originated at the Tipsy Toad Townhouse.

Hazy dark amber color, thin head. Very nice hop aroma, dry hopping (Fuggles?), and some caramel. Quite ordinary maltiness and caramel, and body structure, but again a very pleasant hop note. The hop is mixed with a strong caramel note in the final. A good bottled Bitter.

Hazy blond color. Quite simple aroma and taste, some maltiness, even a bit metallic; but a fairly good hopping makes this brew more pleasant. Quite strong and long final (also with a touch of wistaria).
