(bottle) My sample is fairly hazy (has been carried today), orange-golden colour with a short creamy, slightly off-white layer. Slightly sweet, lemony and slightly piney hops aroma. Bitter flavour with slight sweet edges, light bodied but not too slim nor watery; smooth carbonation. Soft cara-malty taste, subtle fruity (lemon) with a good dash of fruity and resiny hops. Dry and bitter, slim but nevertheless quite lasting hoppy finish with a lemony aftertaste and traces of caramel-malty sweetness. Decent and tasty light Ale.

Bottle. Amber coloured with a slight off-white head. Malty fruit and caramel aroma. Flavour also inclined towards sweetness with a short, bitter finish. Ok, but not memorable.

Bottle. Deep golden in colour with a slight, off-white head. Hoppy aroma with some sweet malt. The flavour had citrus and grassy hops with some supporting malt. Drinkable.

Bottle: Slightly unclear, deep golden to light amber coloured, small and stable off-white layer with a little lace, distinctive, almost peppery hoppy nose, underpinned by fruity malt and toasted malt; moderate bitter-sweet flavour, light bodied; lingering dryish spicy hoppy finish, backed by traces of toasted malt. Good, decent stuff........

Bottle: Amber coloured, lacy off-white to yellowish head, fruity, dark malty nose with a tinge of burnt barley and distinctive hops ; moderate bitter-sweet flavour, light bodied; hoppy aromas, mixed with burnt malt, in the finish. Not bad, but not really well balanced...........

Cask Ultimate Glasgow tasting afters pub crawl: Poured an amber with white head. Aroma is a spicy fruit with hops. The taste is spicy and fruit.

Bottle, thanks Pivnizub. Hazy amber, low off-white head. Perfumed english hops. Bready light nutty base, nicely balanced. Chewy. Quick finish, Scottish rocks in the aftertaste.

50 cL bottle. Pours slight hazy orange with a diminished head. Grapefruity aroma. Flavour is mild bitter and slight fruity bitter. Rather bitter than any caramel malt at all. Quite bitter finish with a persisting fruity note.

Cask at the Old Manor (JDW), Bracknell. Copper with an off-white head; malty aroma; caramel malt and nutty flavours; dry finish. Rather boring in the tradition of a Scottish "heavy".
