[i] [b] Bottle courtesy of my dad, had this 28-06-08 [/i] [/b] Some fruit and malts combine on the aroma of this copper coloured beer. Its fruity and there’s some citrus other than that I’m struggling to find much else, though it tastes fine I suppose.

[i] [b] Bottle that dad bought along this week having purchased from a bottle shop in Belper, consumed 10-04-08 [/i] [/b] Pours chesnut in colour with a rapidly diminishing tan head. Some good tasty earthy hoppiness to this beer and maybe I am getting some hints of whisky nalong wioth a light wafting of alcohol and maltiness on the nose, Not bad at all.

[i] [b] BCA Picked up by my dad, we had this, this evening with our spaghetti bolagnese 07-04-08 [/i] [/b] Pours amber with some lively carbonation, head is white and bubbly and there is a slight haze to the beer. Very good fruity hoppy beer with a nice solid malty base, hops reappear in nose and mouth, this is lovely. Citrus and lovely fruitiness, but its the hops that I’m drawn to, what a great beer.

Cask-conditioned at the Bag O’Nails, Bristol 6/12/07. Mahogany with a decent white head. Aroma of caramel and spicy hops. Flavour was biscuity before a long, dry finish. Good.

[i] Cask at The Wellington, Temple Hill, Birmingham 01-12-07 [/i] As mentioned for my other beer that I had at The Wellington this was served a bit warm, maybe it was because the palce was absolutely rammed, I couldn’t even take notes at the time because could barely move. Poured dark brown with off white head. tasted a bit thin, quite dry, some chocolate and coffee but a bit drab.

Cask-conditioned at the Bag O’Nails, Bristol 15/11/07. Slightly opaque, medium brown colour with a decent off-white head. Aroma of plain chocolate with some earthiness. Flavour had chocolate, a hint of roastiness and a decent dry finish. Good.

Cask gravity at Reading BF 06. Gold/copper with thin white head. Nice sweaty hop aroma. Juicy malt. Some orange. I quite like this, citrus fruits are really satisfying especially on finish
