(Draught at Monk’s Porterhouse, Stockholm, 18 May 2012) Black colour with frothy, brown head. Roasted, malty nose with notes of black coffee, liquorice, cocoa and dark rye bread. Malty, roasted taste with black coffee, liquorice, dark chocolate and a slightly citric bitterness in a dry, roasty finish. More than medium body, with just a touch of sweetness. Very nice.

33cl bottle courtesy of and shared with gnoff. Orangée brumeuse, col épais et crémeux blanc. Arôme est houblonné, fruité tropical légère pointe de cascade et agrumes. En bouche, houblon amer entre APA avec pas mal de houblons, le profile amer sur la fin reste moyennement dominant avec ce bon côté amarillo et cascade, citronné et agrumes pour un fini américaine dans les houblons.

Bottle. Pours a slightly hazy pale orange amber color with a small fast disappearing white head. Has a fruity malty citrus hoppy aroma. Fruity malty hoppy bitter citrus flavor with some grassy hints. Has a fruity malty hoppy bitter citrus finish.

Äntligen tog den sig till mitt bolag också sådär en vecka efter påsk. En bra rakt på sak, gräskådigt besk APA. Bra bett i beskan utan att bli för kladdigt söt.

Bottle. Hazy amber with a large head. Fruity and hoppy aroma. The taste was also hoppy and fruity, particularly apricot. Bitter and with a fairly long aftertaste. Not bad but something was missing for higher points.

Cloudy golden color, with generous head. Average hop aroma, some fruits (bitter oranges), some resins. Smooth mouthfeel; mild toffee flavor, far from being exciting; medium to strong bitterness, with some piney resins.
