Tap @ the brevpub. Practically clear golden with a thin film of white head. Aroma is like pure apple juice with mild acidity. Taste goes in the same direction, pure crisp apple flavor, medium sweet, some acidity, rather straight forward and refreshing. Medium body and average aftertaste. I was told they have had some issues with the ciders (and beers) lately but this should be sorted out by now.

On tap at the brewpub. It pours an unclear light brown body under a dense, finger-thick off-white head. Nice lacing. The aroma is perfumed and lightly roasted, with caramel, some bread and a vague acetone hint. Dark dried fruit too. It's medium bodied and semi-dry, with a nice carbonation level. The flavor too is quite perfumed, too perfumed I think, else mostly malt driven. Some acetone too though, especially in the finish. Bread, dried fruit, hazelnut, roasted malts and caramel. Quite lasting finish. A decent one, but too perfumed and the acetone touch is a bit disturbing. 220729

On tap at the brewpub. A golden colored beer, almost clear, with a dense, white head. Some curtains. The aroma is grainy and sweetish, with pine cones and a grassy touch. It's sweet, medium bodied and pleasantly carbonated, with a rather low bitterness level. The flavor is even more on the grain side than the aroma, borderline popcorn actually, with a light fruityness. Lasting sweet, grainy finish. Well, a bit on the sweet side this one, and I'd like some more fruityness, but it's not a bad one. And at least flawless. 220729

Bottle, 50cl swing-top, at Ekspedisjonen. Label indicated 75cl though, guess they ran out of bottles at some point. Anyway, it's a lightly foggy, straw to golden colored cider with some bubbles. Sulfur, sweat, chicken farm notes, alcohol, apple cores, flowers and funk in the aroma, but mostly it's apple. All the other stuff are just sitting in the back. It's full-bodied, dry, warming and lightly acidic on the palate, with a gentle carbonation. Fruity, lightly grassy flavor with lots of apple, as well as the funky stuff found in the nose. Chickenfarm, sweaty feet, sulfur and some cellar. Some flowery notes and fruity sourness too. Unusual, interesting, strange, nice and not so nice. Can't really decide if it's a 737413 or 636311 rating. Went for the higher one, and will adjust if I ever have this cider again. 220729

Bottle, 75cl corked, at Ekspedisjonen. A very lightly sparkling clear cider, straw colored. Pleasant, gentle and not very complex aroma with yellow apple, grass, some alcohol and a touch of cellar. It's semi-dry, softly carbonated and medium to full-bodied, with a certain warmth. Some apple seed bitterness hints in the flavor, which is mostly that of ripe, juicy yellow apples. Some alcohol, grass and a hint of cellar too. Medium length finish. A bit straight forward and warming this one, but clean and far from bad. 220729

The aroma is a bit sharp, alcoholic, with a chemical hint reminiscent of sulfur but not really that either. Mostly apple though. It's dry and lighlty warming on the palate, with some carbonation. Feels lightly astringent too. A bit sharp, edgy flavor too, alcohol, apple, grass, dry leaves and some chemical hints. Too dry and edgy this one, not my kind of drink. 220729

Bottle, 75cl corked, at Ekspedisjonen. A clear golden colored cider with a very gentle sparkle. The aroma has a touch of grass and pear, but it’s really heavy on the apple aromas. It’s full-bodied, softly carbonated and semi-sweet, with lots of apple flavor. Almost meat-ish in a way. Grass, pear and some apple cores join in. Medium length finish. Rather gentle this one too, even though there’s a heavy apple aroma and taste. Might need a food pairing to shine. 220729

It’s full to medium bodied, semidry and nicely carbonated, with an apple driven flavor. Mostly fresh yellow ones, but also some grass and apple cores. Fruity acidity too. Medium length finish. A nice one, a bit gentle and not very complex, but tasteful. 220729
