UFO-laden, deep orange-amber beer, under cream-beige, good head. Fruity, superb nose, composed of fresh stone fruit, strawberries, dried fruits and fresh hopssacks. Terribly good. Complex flavour, reminiscent of barrel-aged beer, with fruity esters (again strawberry, and orange & cherry), alcohol & fusels. Well-bodied, very slick to syrupy, but avoiding excessive sweetness. Wow. This is really worth in-depth trying, as well as retrying after today. The nose is absolutely great.

Very short-lived white head, over hazy light-orange beer. Again, malts to the fore, slightly coloured malts and yeasty aromas. Again yeast & malts obvious. Some faint cheesy hops, and for the first of the Almond ’22 series, I can detect the honey. Pretty aromatic & herbal. Light to medium bodied, slick, "other grains"slickness. Well-balanced, nice multi-grains (malts?) beer.

Small white head, fast gone over orange-yellow beer, end of bottly cloudy. Quite malty nose, bit toasted, some faint grassy hops. Very ale-like taste, wheat being not very apparent, but quite flavourful for a 4.5% only beer. MIneral water quality, light to medium bodied, wheat slickness. BIt soft-drink like, but flavourful enough. At least, it’s gloriously bereft of coriander.

Huge, dense yellow head, fed by fine pearling in faintly hazy dark orange beer. Fresh, hoppy aromas, floral hops. Very inviting nose; warming up, cookie malts shining through. Rather bitter flavour, backed by toasted malts, cake bottom; but not sweet. Faint grassy and herbal background flavours. Bitter is partly hoppy, partly vegetal (scorzanera?). Medium bodied, well-carbonated. Simple, but excellent (good hops!). I agree with the label that it would go well with some dishes - as asparagus with hardboiled egg, etc. Mille grazie!

I am disappointed that I carried this 4000 miles. Opaque yellow color. Lager yeast and lager aroma. Light lager flavor, with some yeast. Very little of the flavor, yeast, or spice I expect from a saison. Far too light. If they called it a Kolsch, it wouldn’t be bad at all.

Bottled. An unclear orange-brown beer with a lazing beige head. The aroma is sweet with notes of smoke, caramel, and malt. The flavor is sweet though with an edge of acidity and notes of smoke, malt, caramel, and oranges, leading to a bitter and burnt finish. Huge thanks to yespr for sharing.
