On tap at the brewpub. It pours a more or less clear body, pale yellow in color, with some bubbles on top. The aroma has some yeast and sulfur hints, apple cores too, along with a very light scent of honeydew melon. Mostly pure and fresh apple juice though. It’s semi-dry on the palate, pleasantly acidic, with a medium body and a pleasant carbonation. The flavor has some grapefruit and lemon juice, hints of melon and apple cores, but the apple juice is running the show. There’s some sulfur and yeast in the flavor too, but very gentle. Overall, a quite plain and not very complex cider, not too fond of the aroma either, but some air helps. Refreshing and easy drinkable. 220729

On tap at the brewpub. It’s a dark golden colored beer, clear, with a dense, finger-thick off-white head. Nice curtains. The aroma is rather gentle, lightly fruity, piney and grassy, with some bread and caramel in the back. A vague touch of roasted malts and chocolate chimes in. It’s soft and medium bodied, nicely carbonated, semi-dry and with a light bitterness. The flavor has some bready, caramel-ish malts in the back, with hints of dark chocolate and toast. Up front there’s a light fruityness and some hints of pine cones. Medium length finish. An easy drinkable and flawless beer, but not very exciting. 220729

On tap at the brewpub. It’s lightly cloudy in the glass, a bit pale golden in color, with a creamy, finger-thick off-white to white head. Nice curtains. The aroma is flowery and citrusy, with hints of pine cones, peach and pale malts. It’s medium to full-bodied, rather dry on the palate, with a pleasant carbonation level. Super-silky. A bit low on bitterness I think, but with a nice fruity flavor. Generic citrus, some flowery notes, pine cones and a light tropical, peachy touch. Not much maltyness going on. Medium length finish. A pleasant one indeed, but I find it too light and easy drinkable, even for a session strength IPA. 220729

On tap at the brewpub. A finger-thick creamy off-white to white head leaves lacing over a golden colored, lightly foggy body. The aroma has a whiff of diacetyl some bread and caramel, grass and pine cones, but it’s mostly generic fruityness. It’s dry, medium bodied and nicely carbonated, with a good bitterness. Piney and faintly resiny flavor, mostly fruity though, with bread, caramel and a touch of diacetyl. Medium length finish. A pleasant beer mostly, except for the diacetyl. A bit dry or bitter perhaps, but I’m fine with how it is. 220729

On tap at the brewpub. It's lightly hazy, golden in color, with a beautiful, creamy, finger thick white head leaving curtains. The aroma is gentle but nice, with bready, almost biscuity pale malts, some grassy and piney hops and a faint herbal hint. It's perhaps a bit effervescent on the palate, quite dry and crisp, with a good body. The flavor has a gentle bitterness, some piney and resiny hops and a pleasant malty backdrop. Medium length hop driven finish with some pale malts. A really nice pilsner and first encounter with this brewpub. 220729
