Dark amber to dark color. Nice mild aroma of coffee. Not too dry, this helps to complete the flavor of dark caramel and coffee. Balanced.
I’m not interested in coffee beers, but at least this one is wisely brewed.

Draft - Too much pumpkin spice. Clear copper with a beige head. Pumpkin spice, smoke and a cardamom finish. Big spice and smoke cancel each other out for a better beer than I thought. Still way too much spice though.

Draft - Lots of pine with a hint of roast. Clear copper with a small beige head. Lots of wood and some fresh grassy leafy herbal notes that is strong and overpowering. Not enough roast, colour is wrong, in fact everything is. Confirmed with bartender, this is it.

Great creamy huge head and a nice copper-orange body with minimal carbonation. Lots of hops on the nose, sweet hops, but no layering or hints of complexity. Flavour is bitter hops and a crisp sour finish. Smart and tasty. This 1 litre bottle won’t last long.

Oh ya, it’s a constant struggle gettin’ up that hill... and pouring this huge bottle into a little glass. But it pours all right, some decent head, yellow body as typical for lager beers and a bit of carbonation. Lots of sweetness on the nose, maybe some hints of a lager flavour. It’s a very sweet ale, probably too sweet, as the honey dominates everything. No complexity and unbalanced. Okay dry finish. I’d prefer a little more complexity and balance. I’ll still finish this 1 litre bottle though.

@ Red Racer. Medium amber-brown. Smokey and spicy, nutmeg and cinnamon. Flat, oily, only a hint of smoke so it is mostly just Pumpkineater.
