Poured from 473mL can. Dark brown with minimal beige head. Lots of coffee, some bourbon and chocolate, hint of the quad peaks through, a bit thin bodied, but decent.

473 ml can. Pours a very dark brown with moderate tan head. Aromas of raisins, soft bourbon, chocolate, mocha and sweet roasty malts. Lighter flavors follow same but bolstered by fresh brewed coffee. Also getting some thin maple syrup… OK

473 ml can. Pours a very dark brown with full fizzy tan head. Aromas of sour dark fruit, soap, and wet roasted malts. Flavors follow same with a little chocolate. I don’t think the sour notes are intended and are not rye barrel flavors. Therefore beer is infected. Appears others are getting the same. So beer maybe this beer shouldn’t be on the market…

473mL can, pours black with a tiny head. Nose is full of cold brew coffee, cocoa nibs, and gentle bourbon barrels. Flavour is fairly rich, with lots of coffee upfront, followed by cocoa nibs, some bourbon barrels, and toasted malt. Cohesive and nicely barrelled, with a nice, lightly sweet coffee character. Very good.

440 ml can. Pours a very dark brown with moderate tan head. Aromas of dark caramel, dark raisins, plastic, and roasted malts. Flavors follow same with additional oak and weak bourbon. Seems thin and at odds. Disappointing for Howe Sound.

473mL can, pours black with a small tan head. Aroma brings out lots of bourbon barrels, booze, light vanilla beans, and medium roast. Flavour is boozy, with lots of bourbon barrels, alcohol heat, vanilla beans, and medium roast. Nice bourbon character and a nice blend of beers, but not particularly complex. Pleasant.

Poured from 473mL can. Dark brown with small beige head. Dark soured dried fruits prevail, could very well be an infection, but it's not all that offensive (yet) and actually combines itself with the subtle roast and chocolate notes like a sour stout might. Not picking up the barrels here. Oddly okay.

Can from The Gull, North Vancouver, canned Nov 2021, 1 year old
Amber colour, maybe some red shades, it's quite clean and bright. It's full of esters, very perfumey, more North American than Belgian, with some alcohol smell too, but it's not bad. Good body strength, it's sweet, with notes of caramel, toasted marshmallow, candi sugar, oak, and light smoke, the alcohol is not too evident; the bitterness is balanced, for the style.
It's good, and a good value at this price.

473ml can. Pours a cloudy amber red with yeast particles in suspension and a thin, fizzy, short lived, off-white head that laces. Sweet fruity aroma of bready pale malt, raspberry and floral hops. Sweet fruity flavour of grainy pale malt, raspberry and floral hops in a crisp, dry, slightly tart finish. Light body with a watery texture and average carbonation. A one-trick pony, but crushable. A good summer patio beer.

473ml can. Pours a cloudy amber orange with a small, creamy, long lasting, off-white head that leaves curtains of lace. Sweet fruity aroma of bready pale malt, tangerine, mango, cantaloupe, nectarine and floral hops. Sweet fruity flavour of bready pale malt, grapefruit, orange, nectarine, cantaloupe, oats and light piney hops in a dry, mild bitter finish. Medium body with an oily, almost creamy texture and average carbonation. Tasty and enjoyable.
